About ShowHive
ShowHive started the way most good tools do: standing in a field with a clipboard, a folding table, and a spreadsheet that wouldn't load because the fairground had one bar of signal.
Events like these run on volunteers and weekends. The software that serves them should be fast on a phone, work without a connection, and not skim a percentage off a fundraiser's gate. That's the product we're building.
Organize. Register. Judge.
Three words, because that's the whole job. Get the event set up, get entries in the door, and get them fairly judged and awarded. Everything ShowHive does serves one of those three.
Where we're going
Car and motorcycle shows are where we're starting. It's a community we know, the operational pain is real, and the incumbent tools charge per registration while requiring a live internet connection at a field in the middle of nowhere.
But the model underneath isn't car-specific. Any event where entries are registered, judged, and awarded has the same bones — craft fairs, cook-offs, livestock and agricultural shows, hobby and model competitions, art shows. We're building the general platform and proving it on car shows first.
What we believe
The gate belongs to the event. Entry fees go directly to the organizer's own payment account. ShowHive takes 0% of transactions.
Event day can't depend on signal. Judging works fully offline and syncs when it can. A dead zone should never stop an event.
Entrants aren't the product. We collect the minimum needed to run events — no birthdays, no demographic profiles, no data resale.
